While The North Face classifies the Oso Hoodie as technical outerwear, it's a safe bet that this soft high loft fleece jacket will be seen everywhere off the mountain, too. The only place you won't find the warm fluffy fleece is along the elastic edging of the hood (it keeps the stuff off your face) and along the bound cuffs (ditto).
